Description
The goal of this course is to enable the student to work from, around and within a vehicle. Most of us are in a vehicle 60% of our time and violent encounters in and around vehicles continues to grow with road rage, strong arm robbery, theft of a motor vehicle and other crime. This course is a practical exercise conducted at a live-fire range. The students will demonstrate movement as it relates to closed space and vehicles. The students will be proficient with safety, prior to working from a vehicle or other features. The learning environment will incorporate movement to, from, and around a vehicle. We will be using Sims and UTM rounds for Force-on-force.
What to bring:
- EDC – every day carry firearm
- Proper holster (holster should be snug to your waistline)
- Magazine carrier
- 4 spare magazines
- IWB Holster (Inside the Waistband) if requested
- Eye pro (clear lenses for night shoots)
- Hearing pro (electronic preferred)
- Long shirt, pants, closed toe shoes
- Paintball mask are not required but recommended to bring your own. We provide facial protection if you don’t have your own.
We also recommend bringing a cleaning kit for weapons maintenance and baseball style hat. Bring a lunch and enough hydration for the day. Sunscreen, wet wipes and other comfort items along with a pen and paper for notes.
