Description
The goal of this course is to have students learn and demonstrate the fundamentals of marksmanship and perform manipulation techniques with a partner (s). This course is a practical exercise conducted at a live-fire range. The students will demonstrate movement as it relates to the being part of a team. The students will be proficient with safety shooting prior to working from a vehicle or other features. The learning environment will incorporate movement, communication and team building.

- Low light and no light shooting skills

- Team movement interior
- Team movement exterior
- Strong and support side as a team
- Shooting from cover and barricades as a team
- The student will be familiar with how to communicate, move, and if necessary engage as a team.
Kit, each student will need to bring:
- Functional weapon system
- 600 rounds primary
- 200 rounds secondary
- Ear pro and eye pro
- Clear lenses for night shoot (if scheduled)
- Baseball style hat recommended
- Primary weapon sling
- The ability to carry 3 magazines on your person
- Paintball mask for force on force
- Gloves
Suggested:
- A holster and magazine pouch that will retain your equipment when moving
- Primary weapon mounted light
- Weapons lube
- Knee and Elbow pads (optional)
- Gloves (optional)
- Four (4) carbine and three (3) handgun magazines.
- Chest rigs will be covered in class if you have one
