This course is a two day course and the student will learn basics of long (er) distance shooting.  The student will start at 100 yards and work out to 800 yards.  You can run a bolt gun to a gas gun with optics, red dots, or iron sights.

About the instructor:

Torrey Kramer is a former Scout Sniper, Army Airborne (FRM), Torrey Kramer has been with MAST Solutions for roughly 7 years. Torrey is a combat veteran with multiple tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan.  Torrey sustained injuries from an IED, and has since been honorably discharged.  Torrey participates in Iron Man, marathons, building and refitting off road vehicles, as well as teaching.

This course is a two day course and the student will learn basics of long (er) distance shooting.  Introduction to long range shooting. The student can bring and study with any DI 5.56 (iron sights or Optics), a bolt gun with glass, or a hunting rifle of any sort.  The student will learn ballistics, wind, mirage, and range estimating to the satisfactory of the instructor. This class is designed with an emphasis on base fundamentals of marksmanship and the understanding of your ammo and weapon system.

The student will start at 100 yards and work out to 800 yards.  In past classes we have had students run iron sights out to 600 yards with good results.  This class will expose students to the art of long range shooting on the live firer range without the need for the newest gadgets and gee-whiz add-on.  Bring your current weapon system and a willingness to learn, and see you on the range.

  6. rear bag or tub sock filled with airsoft pellets
  7. proper clothing to be in the sun all day
  8. snacks and drinks
